Disclaimer
Educational reference tool · Not a medical device · A visualization aid for trained clinicians — not a diagnosis and not a substitute for clinical judgment · All clinical decisions remain with the physician · Not for autonomous diagnosis or treatment
Scope of Use
This tool is for education and research. It presents cortical-stimulation target data from two peer-reviewed open-access publications: Wu et al 2025 (Chinese Medicine) and Li et al 2026 (Alpha Psychiatry · AP45940). It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, does not treat, does not predict individual response, and does not prescribe stimulation parameters.
Clinical Prohibitions
This tool must not be used to: diagnose; plan treatment; determine coil/electrode placement for an individual patient; specify stimulation intensity, frequency, or duration; or predict an individual patient’s response. Any stimulation requires the in-person judgment and supervision of a licensed clinician.
Regulatory Status
This tool has not been reviewed or cleared by any regulatory body (including the US FDA), has received no regulatory approval, and is not registered as a medical device. It makes no claim of efficacy, safety, endorsement, or regulatory approval. All content is reference information derived from public, peer-reviewed literature.
Basis for Independent Review
This tool is designed to support, not replace, a licensed clinician’s independent judgment. Every localization carries its literature source (PMID/DOI), coordinate space (MNI152), and positional uncertainty (±mm) so a clinician can independently review the basis for each item. Any use is at the user’s own risk.
Cortex↔Acupoint Cross-walk (Experimental)
The correspondence between cortical targets and acupoints / scalp-acupuncture lines is an experimental reference cross-walk (proportional registration + literature). It has never been clinically validated and implies no claim of efficacy or specificity. It is a visualization aid between localization languages only, and is not point-selection or treatment guidance.
Privacy (G13)
No patient information (PII / PHI) is collected. The feedback form accepts anonymous submissions and automatically strips any detected email, phone, SSN, or MRN patterns. An optional email is stored only when the user explicitly opts in for follow-up.
